This year was really special for me. That was because I had my first Malaysia Week and I was looking forward to it since I got in to grade 6. Finally I could go to the Malaysia Week, Kuala Kubu Baru, and I had so much fun there. In this fun KKB trip, I have learned four SLRs which were Learning Enthusiastically, Collaborate Constructively, Think Creatively and Communicate Effectively.
I learned enthusiastically on how to live in the jungle. This trip was the first time for me to live in a tent and to sleep in the tent and was really amazing! I learned how to live in the jungle enthusiastically even though it wasn’t as comfortable as living at home. Also, I could learn how to cook because I was in the cooking group. I was really proud of my mom when I got back home because I learned how hard cooking is and my mom is doing that everyday. I used to think that cooking would be impossible for me, but now I think it isn’t that bad. I collaborated constructively with my friends when we were rafting down the river. I could learn from this activity that collaborating constructively is really fun. There were four people on the boat and 2 people were sitting on each. When we wanted to go to one direction, one side had to paddle harder. I thought creatively when we were doing tubing. I had to think when I was riding on it because it was really hard to change direction, go backward or go forward.
After writing this, I realize that I have learned a lot of things in Malaysia Week. For example, I learned how to communicate with people over this Malaysia Week. Also, I will keep in mind that cooking takes effort and I can’t waste food. Even though I am learning, I felt I played and had so much fun. I think that Malaysia Week is really helpful for students to learn enthusiastically and we could make many happy memories together. As I said in KKB, I could Learning Enthusiastically, Collaborate Constructively, Think Creatively and Communicate Effectively.
